SOUND INSTALLATION/2022
           

A work that can only be activated by smoking, an objec placed on the wall on the head level, the object have a smoke detector, by asking the audience to smoke, the system starts to work inside the space, a system of signals, a fire alarm, sounds and lights, that are playfully warning, announcing danger in a clumsy way, a variations of alarming sounds, high pitched sirens that randomise and losses it’s awakening feature by moving back and forth whether in volume, tone or rhythm, a festival of security. The idea is
reflecting a constant state of fight or flight mode, the
responsiveness and the sensitivity of living on the edge. The extremity and the urgency that are lived with and paradoxically stimulating as well.
